Advanced Web Statistics (AWStats) is a free powerful Web server logfile analyzer (Perl script) that shows you all your Web statistics including visits, unique visitors, pages, hits, rush hours, search engines, keywords used to find your site, robots, broken links, and more. It works with both IIS 5.0+ and Apache Web server log files as a CGI and/or from the command line. It also supports around 40 languages.

In this version, the Lang parameter accepts an 'auto' value. URL was added to the list of possible values for the ExtraSection first column. There is a new parameter, URLWithAnchor, which is set to 0 by default. A percentage was added to the Visit Duration report. logresolvemerge.pl can now read .gz or .bz2 files. Icons and a MIME label were added for the file types report. The whois information was added to a centered popup window. There are also cosmetic changes to the browsers reports.
