Blogfish is a Gnome panel applet that allows you
to spread your blog URL, Web site URL, or random
thoughts to other users. Good memes survive; bad
ones are voted down and go belly up. Recently

A new simple peer for running on servers or systems without X. An RPM package. This release no longer sucks so much memory, dies nicely on exit, and resizes nicely. Networking bugs have been fixed. You can drag and drop URLs to add new fish. It has a nice new icon, UI compatibility with the HIG, a simpler install script, and compatibility with Python < 2.3.
This release adds much-improved networking code (blogfish should now be
able to stay connected for days), an improved settings dialog (including
configurable fish speed, death, spawning, fighting, and reproduction),
more lifelike fish movement, a redesigned fish details dialog, new
backgrounds and several new fish images, a new uninstall script, and
better handling of peer disconnects. It has been promoted from "alpha"
to "release candidate". No shark attacks have been reported on Blogfish
users. If you are attacked by a shark while using Blogfish, swim
carefully away from the computer.
