叔父に頼まれて横書きでHTMLファイルを作ったのですが、縦書きを希望されまして、ハタと困っておりました。
そんな時、こちらのサイトを見つけまして、「影鷹」
を発見しました。横書きファイルが簡単に縦書きになりまして、感激しております。どうも有り難うございました。

アプレット（Ver.0.4）で縦書きを表示できました!
縦書きは、IEではサポートされているようですが、Firefoxではまだなので、Flashでの表示方法なども探していましたが、なかなか面倒。このアプレット、いいですね、貴重です。
開発は止まっているように見えますが、アプレットに特化しても価値があると思います。
各ブラウザでCSS3が遵守されると状況はよくなるのかもしれませんが、それが普及するまでには時間がかかるし。Java使いではないので協力できないのが残念です。
