Project Name: midisynth Project Description: A very simple and basic software-synthesizer playable via midi-keyboard for learning purpose (music-making, synthesizer-programming, digital signal processing). Purpose of the project: The purpose of this project is to provide an example how to synthesize sounds and use a midi-keyboard to play them. This is not very complex - however the information how to play sounds and read the midi-keyboard are (at the moment of writing this) ridiculously hard to find on the internet. So this project is aimed at helping people to start writing their own midi-playable software-synthesizer. License: GPL 3
