NVDACon 2016 は2016年4月 22, 23日および 29, 30日に TeamTalk 上のオンライン会議として開催されます。

Dear NVDA users, developers, translators, supporters, mainstream developers and others around the world:
I’m Joseph S. Lee, one of the contributors to NVDA screen reader project and the chair of NVDA Tenth Anniversary Planning Committee. On behalf of NVDA contributors and NVDACon Planning Committee, I would like to thank you for your continued support for NVDA, the free, open-source, community-driven screen reader for Microsoft Windows. Without your help and support, NV Access and NVDA community could not have celebrate an important milestone in screen reading technology: ten years of excellence, about to be celebrated in a major way via an annual conference to be held around NVDA’s tenth birthday: NVDACon 2016.
What is NVDACon? NVDACon (NVDA Users and Developers Conference) is an annual gathering of NVDA users and developers around the world to discuss current state of NVDA development, meet lead developers and to set the goals of NVDA’s development for months to come. Topics discussed in past NVDACon include math support, improved braille support, demonstrations of new features and an in-depth discussion of using NVDA with web platforms such as Google Apps.
This year, NVDACon takes on a new personality. Now that NVDA is ten years old, we the members of the NVDA community believe NVDACon 2016 would be a good time to celebrate NVDA’s tenth anniversary and to discuss long-term goals of NVDA screen reader. To make this happen, we the members of NVDACon Planning Committee have decided to hold NVDACon 2016 over two weekends in April: 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th. Also, influenced by our planning efforts, users of NVDA in Japan and South Korea have elected to change their regular meetings to NVDACon JP and NVDACon Korea, respectively, thus our April meeting will henceforth be known as NVDACon International 2016 (sometimes known as NVDACon 2016 International or April NVDACon).
Some of the tentative sessions and topics for NvDACon 2016 include: Keynote presentation and Q&A with lead developers: the highlight of NVDACon, you’ll get a chance to meet the gentlemen who’ve brought NVDA to life back in 2006. Math support: A chance to learn more about NVDA’s math support and its possibilities. Tips and testimonials: Each session will feature one or more tips when using NVDA, and members of the community will be given a chance to talk about how NVDA has impacted their lives. Add-ons forum: Learn more about how add-ons work and get a chance to talk to add-on authors themselves.
