GNU Teseq is a tool for analyzing files that contain control characters and terminal control sequences. It is intended to be useful for diagnosing terminal emulators and programs that make heavy use of terminal features (such as those based on the Curses library). It is primarily targeted at individuals who possess a basic understanding of terminal control sequences, especially CSI sequences. However, by default Teseq will try to identify and describe the sequences that it encounters and the behavior they might produce in a terminal.
Callflow is a collection of awk and shell scripts that will take a capture file that can be read by Ethereal and produce a callflow sequence diagram. The scripts have been primarily tested with SIP call flows, but should work for other network traffic as well.
Japt-Proxy is a fast and reliable caching proxy for Debian's APT system. It is intended for environments where several Debian systems have to be kept up-to-date and downloading the same files over and over again from the Debian mirrors is undesirable. Even with high volume internet connections, it can dramatically reduce the time required to install or update Debian on many machines.

keep track of managed IP networks, track free
ranges that are available for assigning, and
document the network setup. It has been designed
to help admins manage and document small to
medium networks. It prints and displays freely
colorable maps of your network.

PerfMonger is an yet another performance monitoring tool. The monitoring targets of PerfMonger are similar to the ones of sysstat (CPU usages, IO usages, etc.), but PerfMonger can collect and report performance information very frequently (the reporting interval of sysstat is 1 second at minimum, but PerfMonger can use a much smaller interval such as 0.5 seconds or 0.01 seconds) and can display performance information in both human-readable and machine-readable formats.
For each defined host in the supplied hosts.cfg
(Nagios configuration file), check_topology checks
whether the last hop in the network path
corresponds to the defined parent.

SigmaVPN is very light-weight VPN software allowing the easy creation of multiple low-overhead secure tunnels without complicated configuration. SigmaVPN is highly modular, and it is very easy to extend with new protocols or encryption schemes.
StdioTunnel allows you to tunnel arbitrary TCP
connections through any shell access connection.
If the connection provides a clear 8-bit data path
and allows you to start programs, you can use it
with StdioTunnel. It tunnels TCP connections in
much the same way SSH does, but is useful in
particular cases where SSH port forwarding is
disabled, and it does not require running or
changing the configuration of any server processes
on either side of the connection.
FauBackup uses a filesystem on a hard drive for
incremental and full backups. All backups can
easily be accessed by standard filesystem tools.
Later backups to the same filesystem will
automatically be incremental, as unchanged files
are only hard-linked with the existing version of
the file.
ITVal is a decision-diagram based query engine for
testing and verifying iptables firewalls. Because
firewalls can be very complicated, it is often
difficult to know whether your firewall is
correctly configured to protect against various
attacks. ITVal allows the system administrator to
quickly and easily verify that the firewall setup
satisfies a set of security properties expressed
as queries. Queries are specified in a simple
English-like language that is very easy to use.
Advanced firewall techniques, such as NAT and
stateful filtering, are supported.
Rally is a software component with a user interface which allows a user to install, update, and remove packages on RPM based operating systems. Primary functions (downloading software packages from network repositories and their installation) may be performed in parallel. The user interface is split into two independent parts: a graphical one and a command line utility. The graphical interface contains package searching and category browsing functions. Rally assumes the Fedora project as a reference platform.

Fake has been designed to switch in backup servers on a LAN. It has been used to success over the last year to switch in backup Mail, Web and Proxy servers during periods of both unscheduled and scheduled down time. Fake allows you to take over the IP address of another machine in the LAN by bringing up an additional interface and making use of ARP spoofing. The additional interface can be either a physical interface or an IP alias.
The IberAgents platform is a framework for
component development in Java. It has facilities
for Web service communication (SOAP), persistence
to database or files, and interaction via the Web;
thus providing an end-to-end solution for data
management. It uses its own SOAP library, so it
does not depend on Axis or Apache Soap.
Tea4CUPS is similar in functionality to the *nix
command "tee", but in the form of a CUPS (Common
UNIX Printing System) backend. Tea4CUPS captures a
print job's data in their final form while they
are being sent to a printer (more precisely, to a
CUPS backend), and at the same time allows you to
dispatch these data to any number of commands.
