MaheshaNetBSD is a NetBSD Live USB distribution which has the IceWM Desktop and the same feel as all the author's MaheshaBSD-based products. A LiveCD can easily be made from it by running the /makeiso script in the root directory. It can be used for many things like viewing presentations (PDF files, images, etc.), handling recovery tasks, playing music, playing chess, surfing the Internet, etc. Linux emulation is activated. The advantage of this LiveUSB is that the USB pendrive is writable after booting (unlike other MaheshaBSD products), and users can thus easily install packages from the Internet. However, as USB flash drives do not like too many writes, the author keeps a few directories in memory (/tmp, /var, /etc.). MaheshaNetBSD lets you can write in Sanskrit.

libbsl (Basic System Library) is a powerful, easy
to use, and fully thread safe C++ template class
library for frequently recurring (machine/OS
oriented) programming problems. It provides many
useful classes like easy to use and fully
interchangable I/O devices, ElGamal/AES
cryptographic network sockets, dynamic loadable
C++ objects which remain dynamic_castable after
loading, simple to use and fully copyable thread
objects, functors, typelists, a superior state
machine implementation, and much more.

S2k2smi is a conversion utility from s2k (internal
Sasami video player subtitle format) to smi.

Serbian Dictionary is a bidirectional Serbian-English dictionary. It currently contains only a command line interface. It has been tested on Linux, *BSD, and Cygwin.

Genecys is a massively multi-player online RPG. It
is a completely dynamic environment. Each server
is completely unique and follows its own
progression of events. Maps will be generated
randomly, at server startup, as will towns and
NPCs. NPCs will be AI controlled, and have their
own lives in the game, and exist to interact with
the players, not just to be slaughtered by the
players.

ctris is a Tetris clone for the console. It uses
the ncurses library.

kcurses is a set of simple widgets and UI
abstractions for ncurses, to handle list boxes,
vi-like field-editing, and mouse selections. It
will probably include some database-connection
abstractions as well in the future.

Hanterm is an xterm improvement for Hangul (Korean Language) support. Its features include support for johab* encoded fonts, UTF-8 encoding for output, in addition to usual wansung (KSC-5601/KSX-1001) encoded fonts.

mod_sar ("sar" stands for Search And Replace) is
an Apache2 module that works as an output filter.
Its purpose is to search for and replace strings
found in Web content before sending the content to
the client. Searches performed can be case
sensitive or case insensitive, depending on
configuration. A good example of common usage of
this module is a reverse proxy.

daes is a little program for encrypting files.

Xclasses is a C layout library for the X Window System. All objects (called gadgets) are font sensitive, i.e. their size changes with the size of the used screen font and the size of the window. All this is done by Xclasses itself. The user may choose any kind of font style and size.

Gangplank is a Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) system (or "chat server") which supports real-time communication between users, currently using a text-based user interface. It runs as an Internet server which implements the standard telnet protocol, so no special client program is necessary for users. Server-side processing provides input editing/history and terminal- handling features over the telnet connection for standard ANSI terminals. This code has been in production use on a private server since early 1993. This single-process server is fast, efficient and stable.

Fobbit allows Creative VOIP Blaster hardware
devices to be used under NetBSD, Linux, and
Microsoft Windows. It permits calls to be made
to other Fobbit users without the need for the
original Creative Labs software, and works
from behind firewalls and NAT.
