cwwav takes one or more text files (or text read from standard input) and converts the text into an audio file (wav or mp3) containing the CW (Morse code) representation of the text. It's useful for generating practice files if you are learning CW and want to practice by listening to text. It's a very simple program but it is designed to do what it does well. That is, it is designed to produce good sounding CW output files, with proper timing and comfortable envelope to avoid keyclicks and to make the CW softer.

ebook2cw is a command line program that converts a
plain text file (like an eBook) to Morse code (CW)
MP3 or OGG files. Morse parameters like speed and tone frequency, and audio parameters such as bit rate, sample rate, and quality can be changed by command line switches. It automatically splits and numbers the output files by chapters.

Xlog is an easy to use program for logging your
radio contacts. Contacts are saved in a browsable
list which can be edited.

Grig is a graphical user interface for the Ham Radio Control Libraries. It is intended to be simple and generic, presenting to the user the same interface regardless of which radio he or she uses.

qrq is a Morse telegraphy trainer for Linux,
Unix (including OS X), and Windows, similar to the classic DOS program "Rufz".

cwdaemon is a small daemon which uses the PC parallel or serial port and a simple transistor switch to output Morse code to a transmitter from a text message sent to it via the UDP protocol.

cwtext converts ASCII streams in stdin to ASCII Morse code (dotscii) or to audio suitable for >/dev/dsp on Linux and other platforms. It also has a collection of tools for pulling info from the Internet and presenting it in Morse code.

Most morse code (CW) training requires you to learn everything at once without a training process. This application changes that and separates training into phases.

XASTIR (X Amateur Station Tracking and Information Reporting) is a software
client which uses amateur radio's APRS protocol. XASTIR provides messaging and
realtime tracking of stations using map plotting via radio and Internet data
streams.

pmsdr is software for a low-cost, DDS-less "Software Defined Radio" full coverage receiver for all HF bands.

CWirc is a plugin for the X-Chat IRC client to transmit raw Morse code over the internet using IRC servers as reflectors. The transmitted Morse code can be received in near real-time by other X-Chat clients with the CWirc plugin. CWirc tries to emulate a standard amateur radio rig: it sends and receives Morse over virtual channels, and it can listen to multiple senders transmitting on the same channel. Morse code is keyed locally using a straight or iambic key connected to a serial port, or using the mouse buttons, and the sound is played through the sound card, or through an external sounder.
