Gepolabo is a GNOME application for technical
analysis of stock markets. Indicators are
available as plugins. Quotes may be selected with
criteria. Quotes are saved in a MySQL database.
Quotations are updated from the Web (yahoo.com) or
from files.

PricingNexus is a Java-based framework that collects financial data
from the Internet, stores it in a database, and makes it available via
JMS/DB/RMI, using a well-defined framework. It relies heavily on JMS
for transporting messages and communication, and on XML for the data
format. It uses several components working separately in a distributed
object environment.

Acikisletme is a console application for markets
and small firms. Acikisletme manages stock, money
changes, and bills. It uses ncurses and
PostgreSQL.

gChartman is a GNOME program for technical stock analysis. It relies on MySQL as storage backend and is capable of retrieving quotes from videotext/teletext broadcasts (a bttv compatible tv-tuner card is required).

Finance-QuoteHist provides Finance::QuoteHist, a
Perl module that provides easy fetching of
historical stock quotes from a variety of sources
on the Web. The bundle includes the underlying
site-specific modules. Reliability is enhanced
through the use of symbolic extraction provided by
HTML::TableExtract along with automatic failover
to alternate sites.

mock market is a program that lets users create and track fictitious portfolios over the Web, based on stock symbols and prices from the real stock market. The package consists of a Java servlet and some Perl scripts which access a MySQL database.

Xquote is a WWW quote retrieval tool.

The Analyst is a Java program which extracts various bits of financial information from a publically-traded company's 10-Q and 10-K filings with the U.S. SEC, and performs fundamental analysis calculations.

plausj bank_german is a Java library that provides
components for performing high-quality check digit
calculation for German bank accounts.

The TREE Data Server captures real-time financial
data from one or several data feed services (e.g.
IB TWS API), archives data in a historical
database, and makes both live and archived data
available to client applications. The system can
be used in real-time charting, an ATS, a tick feed
simulator, or any situation in which multiple
clients need real-time access to the tick stream
or archived tick data. In addition, the archived
tick stream and tick data are available for
offline data analysis and backtesting.

QuoteFilter is a companion to Xinvest and Xquote.
You can use it to filter your emails messages
and process the contents of some messages to
retrieve stock quotes from them. The quote
information can be stored in the files that
Xinvest uses so that you'll automatically use
recent information. Xquote serves a similar
purpose, but it retrieves stock quote information
from Internet servers.
