Hello, I have a Roland TD15-KV (VH11 Hi-Hat) and the game recognize every midi signal from the hihat as MIDI In #0 code.4 instead of 2 codes for closed, 2 for open and 1 for hihat pedal.

Sorry, I could not understand what you want to exlpain as the issue......

However there are some tips; you may fix your issue by them;

  • Try to re-assing pad-assign first. (CONFIGURATION => Drums => Druks Keys)

HHVelocityMin is on 20, and I mean that I have a misfiring issue with the Hi-Hat.

I don't have this problem with XG Ver.K.

Do you mean "In the game, all hihat open/closed/pedal are recognized as closed", Right?

If so, plz check the seting ”Drums/HH Group". You should set it as HH-0, if you want to hti it separately. Here is more detail description; https://osdn.jp/projects/dtxmania/wiki/CONFIGURATION

If not so, do you mean "At Drums keys, even if you hit open/close/pedal, all of them are recognized as MIDI In #0 code.4"?? If so, I need some investigations.

If not so, please compare the settings between VerK and this one. (Currently I have no idea. need more info to investigate.)

Ok, got it.

please try temporal patch (attached. plz overwrite dll/fdk.dll in DTXMania103)

and also, if you could, please try MidiInChecker2 (attached).

  1. launch midiinchecker2.exe
  2. hit open/close/pedal hat
  3. copy text, and paste here

to investigate what midi code is generated in Roland TD15-KV (VH11 Hi-Hat).

It seems that the pedal position is refreshed on midi note 4, and velocity is the position, 0 is fully opened pedal and the higher velocity the more closed the pedal...
