When using ibus/anthy and a keyboard layout where you use the shift key to get to the numbers (like standard French azerty keyboard or programmer Dvorak) selecting the correct kanji from the list via the number key doesn't work.
Step by step example:
You want to write "退会",
type "taikai" and get an underlined "たいかい",
hit <space> and get an underlined "大海". (depending on your history with words pronounced like that)
As that's not what you want you hit <space> again and get a list of candidates.
What you want is number 3.
So you hit <space><3>. (See definition, you use shift to get to the numbers.)
You end up with 大海 and an underlined "3". (A "full-width" 3?)
Which is not what you want.
Selecting the correct kanji with the cursor keys or the numbers on the num pad works fine.
P.S. Sorry about not writing in Japanese. I'm learning the language. I don't really speak/write it yet.
