I noticed half of my wailings did not register, so after testing around, I found out that if I hit a note with a wailing chip BEFORE the note, the wailing works. When hitting the note AFTER the actual note timing, the wailing does not work.

Delaying the wail until after the note (when hitting it early) seems to work, though. Autoplay hits all wails, too.

Thanks for your great report. It helps me to repro the issue very easy. (In these days I felt it's difficult to register wailing, but I don't know why.....)

I found which function should be modified, but it needs a tough analysis to me. So please give me a few days.

Fixed. Would you test it? It cotains both fixes (#25253(wailing) and #25254(difficulty change by Bass))
