I tried to re-generate the binary of that other ruby-gtk2 project. I have a binary now, generated on another computer (that was running windows2000, now I run winXP btw). that binary works great. it's marked in "version" on the file properties 3.2.0.0. Now i generated a new binary. from the same old .exr file. It doesn't work! with this message again (Couldn't modify DLL's name in the import table. The name of the executable file is too long.). I don't understand anything... Same program, same version of exerb, once it worked, now no more. Maybe it's some change in ruby-gtk or in gtk itself... But for sure I won't understand/fix the problem alone. If you are interested, I have the source code and .exr of both projects. Also the .exe that worked and the one that doesn't. confused, emmanuel
