Abook is small and powerful ncurses based addressbook program designed to use with mutt mail client. Abook runs on Linux and FreeBSD operating systems.

This release adds I18n support (including French, German, Swedish,
and Japanese translations), documentation for translators, a Palmcsv
importation filter, and various bugfixes.
This release has a show_cursor config option, an autoconf/automake update, new memory allocation routines, an updated readline interface, code cleanups, and minor fixes. It compiles with tcc (Tiny C Compiler).
In this version, sort by field, duplicate item, and quit
without saving commands were added, autoconf/
automake were updated, and some fixes were made.
This release adds a palmcsv export filter, a spec file for RPM
support, mutt-style rc file support, readline editing support, an
add_email_prevent_duplicates option, and many minor improvements and
bugfixes. getopt is now used to parse the commandline.
