apt-imagen is a script used to install .deb
packages on a machine (host1) with a slow or no
Internet connection, through a second machine,
using an image of the state of the packages system
on host1. apt-image works on Debian GNU/Linux or any other distributions that have the installation tool apt-get, i.e. based on the package management system APT.
