gtk-engines-extra contains extra themes and engines for the GTK toolkit, taken from gtk.themes.org. It is designed to complement the standard GNOME package gtk-engines.

rgrep is no longer needed during install (find and grep are used instead), changed default installation paths to reflect most common gnome installations, documentation included, get_themes.sh script to download themes from gtk.themes.org, Makefile and install.sh script are included and distributions which are not RPM based can also install the package now.
This is the first attempt to make a package. All themes integrate correctly into the existing GNOME environment, provided the source and Makefiles for all extra engines, the SOURCE package is made relocatable.
The collection is now a snapshot of gtk.themes.org from Feb 19, 2000. The get_themes.sh script was updated and enhanced. The package's scripts can now be downloaded separately from its themes.
