Major feature enhancements
The PS3 Eye webcam is supported, but it requires
USB2. Support for many webcams has been added, and
all the cameras from the gspca project should
work. Support for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) was
improved, as the NSLock console warning messages
should be gone. The driver for the PAC207, a chip
used in many cheap webcams, has been improved in
many ways.
This version fixes an issue that 0.8.9 had with
Skype. It also is less sensitive to USB
Communication Errors, and should work with some
hub configurations. EyeToy support is improved.
Some other cameras have been added, including some
recent Logitech cameras.
Support has been added for a number of cameras, based on ZC030x, TV8532, SPCA501, and SPCA508 chips. Support has been restored for OV511(+) cameras. A serious QuickTime resource bug has been fixed. Support has been added for Ezonics iContact. Sonix-based cameras should work now. Some cameras may still have issues on Intel-based Macs.
