Network FIFO is an attempt to provide access to a
FIFO object across the network on a programming
level. Although it is possible to invoke certain
command line utilities to do something like this,
it is often not preferable to call an external
program when writing a new program. Network FIFO
provides a kind of network object that is accessed
by a reader or writer when one of them wants to
send or receive something to or from the other one.
