Quarantine is yet another firewall that has masquerade, TOS, and traffic shaping features. It has a lot of options, but is quite easy to configure. It was formerly known as Netwall.

Some (critical) typos in qconfig and quarantine
were fixed. The Makefiles were updated. The 0.2.0
version which was released a few days ago was not
the final release, but a developement version.
Upgrading to 0.2.1a is recommended.
This release includes fixes for a few problems with qconfig, updates and additions to the modules for incoming CVS, DNS zone transfers, and DNS queries, and some other minor bugfixes.
Quarantine has partially been rewritten and a major code cleanup was made. A new module system is introduced that makes some uncomfortable configuration options obsolete. Some bugfixes were made and new tools and features were added: qmodule for module creation, an upgrade script that makes upgrading from quarantine prior to 0.2.0 easier, post-loading of modules, etc. Note: this release is not really backwards-compatible, so there may be some adaptions to your configuration to be made.
There are minor bugfixes in some 'if' statements and concerning the dnsfwd section. The logfile and logging behaviour have been changed, and some changes from 0.1.12 have been reversed. Declaring a DNS is now mandatory. This will be the last 0.1.x version.
This release has little bugfixes, code cleanups, and feature enhancements regarding the ICQ module, netrouter, qconfig and FQHN resolution. Improved error handling has been implemented.
