The SVG Icons project provides SVG icon
themes for desktop environments, including
KDE and GNOME. They provide high
rendering quality due to anti-aliasing, and
reduce the amount of disk space required.

This is a development snapshot. Many icons have several versions (xxx-2.1.svg, xxx-2.2.svg, etc.) You should use the latest version. Existing open source SVG renders (KSVG, librsvg2/rsvg_display, xsvg, ImageMagick, etc.) can't render those icons. You need either Sodipodi-0.27 (or newer), or Adobe SVG viewer for Windows to render those icons. Rendering in ASV for Linux was not tested.
This is a major release with significant enhancements over the 0.2.x series. Navigations icons (Back, Forward, Up, Down, Stop) were reworked to get better rendering at 16x16 and 22x22. Desktop and Home icons have new colors and new design. A Cut icon has been added to give Copy/Cut/Paste operations a consistant look. Rendering has been added for 64x64 and 96x96 sizes (apps, filesystems, and MIME type).
A new KMail icon in classic "Orange E" style and with few modifications, an Envelope icon (the envelope is extracted from KMail icon, and may be useful for your favorite MUA), a new Desktop icon, new Gear and Exec icons in KDE's traditional style, but reworked and more colorful, new Documents and flat variant of Folder icons, and a reworked Home icon that is more colorful. With new/updated KMail and Desktop icons, the BlueSphere icon theme is quite useful for typical KDE desktop user (KMail, Konqueror, KWord, etc.).
This is a bugfix release. The recommended Toolbar icons size is 32x32
or 48x48. 22x22 icons are usable, but sometimes need extra work;
0.3.x releases will be targeted at these issues.
