WCN:Talk (originally called "FutureForum") is a Web discussion forum written in Perl and MySQL. It has many options, including message selection and sorting on the top index page. It also has collapsible branches, a menu that toggles between 'no menu', 'simple', and 'advanced' modes, full text search capability, the ability to send email to the admin and original poster, and many other features. It includes password protection, HTML templates, file uploads, message subscription, multiple discussion sections, and a lot more.

This release includes a new name (WCN:Talk, was 'FutureForum') and the ability to set up the board as either a 'public' or 'private' board with password protection. It now has HTML templates for HTML output, a file upload feature, and a file library. It has a subscription function that allows users to receive people's messages as they are posted, or receive a list of messages each day. The program can have multiple discussion sections, and has an interface to manage users and sections. Sections can be set as 'read only'. It includes user and admin help docs and many other features.
