Hello, all

I am trying to compile in MinGW the "Discount" mark-
down processor, but  cannot  because  the  following
macros/functions seem to be missing:

  1.  alloca(),
  2.  S_ISSOCK.

Shall MinGW provide them or not? Also missing is
bzero(), but I shall not asked about it because
it is deprecated.
