Hi. I'm maintaining RubyCocoa port of Darwinports project. I have received a mail [1] asking me of adding patches, which Jonathan wrote to solve threading issues [2], to the port. It seems that I must patch Ruby itself before patching to RubyCocoa, so I'm afraid I should add the patches to the port albeit there are many people who don't use RubyCocoa. My questinos are: 1. Are those patches necessary to use RubyCocoa? 2. Are those patches can be applied safely to Ruby itself without worring about making troubles to non-RubyCocoa users? 3. Are those pathces are going to be included in the official Ruby tree and RubyCocoa tree? Thanks. Yuhei.
