Currently we only support up to VS2019. We should also generate projects/solution for VS2022. The Premake4 fork needs to be adjusted accordingly.
Moreover I am looking into getting glue code together which allows a program built with VS2019 or newer to run on Windows XP (potentially even Windows 2000, but this requires even further research).
If this succeeds we can retire pre-VS2019 versions (or potentially pre-VS2017) and make use of certain modern C++ features subsequently.
