Yes, to decrease input/output lags is very important problem for DTXMania.
However, to support ASIO is a little tough challenge for me. Because the ASIO provides too simple features...output single sound track as it were, and I have to make code by myself for changing volumes, panpots & so on, and synthesizing multitrack sounds (bgm, chip sounds,..) into single track, etc.
So, though I'd like to support ASIO very much, it will needs much times.
I'm using the Roland HD-1 as well. With a cheap no-name converter from MusicStore and Windows 7, I do not have any input delay problems. Check that you don't have a wrong value in Configuration -> Drums -> Input Adjust. "0" works fine for me.
Sorry for your taking patient for a long long time.....
Finally I made a beta version to support ASIO. Please try it. If there are no problems, it will be released as an official version.
