Which version of DTXC do you use?
and What viewer do you use? DTXViewer? or DTXManiaGR?
Latest version, 0.31, tried with both viewers and got the same issue.
The weird thing is that when I open finished .dtx files they work just fine in the viewer...
Ohhh, I got it, the problem is that if you don't save the dtx before trying to preview it doesn't work... Fixed it by saving the blank dtx and mp3 on a folder, then added the bgm and it worked.

No, it's the same, just that saving the DTX it works, the bug is when you create a new DTX file and try to preview it without saving it.

The issue occurs with 1 additonal condition: use "far-pathed" chip. (eg. your last-dtx-saved-folder = c:\a\b\c\d\e\f\g, and you assign chip c:\h\i\j\k\l\m\n\foobar.ogg)
1 more comments: when you try trial version, please overwrite it on DTXMania104 environment.
DTXC Rel 032 has been released with the fix. I close the ticket.
If still your trouble does not fix, please open the ticket again.
