Ecskdee is a futuristic race and destroy game
based on the multi-platform Crystal Space 3D SDK,
Crystal Entity Layer, and Crystal Core. It should
work on GNU/Linux, Unix, *BSD, Mac OS X, and
Windows. Development is mainly done on GNU/Linux.

Cg redist (32-bits) was added, so its installation
is not needed (use ecksdee.sh). The menu screen
and HUD were revamped. Pause and end-of-race
screens were added. Two new ships and a new map
with track lane were added. Support was added for
saving track and lap records with ranking. Support
for backgound music and songs from Niccy Spray
were added. Content exported from Blender is
supported using blender2crystal. Input
configuration (input.cfg) and ship physics (like
rolling) were improved.
Fixed ARB shaders now support missing. There is
now a Linux binary without Cg toolkit support. ODE
is now statically linked. A load screen was added.
Sound support and engine sounds were added. The
default camera follows the ship more tightly. An
afterburner was added. Track4 is now playable. You
still must request it from the commandline. A
weapon inventory was introduced, with a laser to
be picked up. A few exploding boxes were added, so
the laser is not totally useless. Race status is
now displayed in HUD.
