The program now starts with a tray icon only and not with the full screen. The Windows package now includes OpenVPN 2.0.7. In Certificate Management, the certificate details such as Name, Email, City, and Expiration Date are now shown. Fixes were made for Mono 1.1.13 and problems related to Ubuntu Dapper were corrected. Certificate selection problems involving full paths were fixed along with certificate creation on Windows and issues with certificates with password protection.
The main tab was split into "Main" and "Options". New "Network" and "Security" tabs were included. You can now lock configuration changes by creating a config.lock file. Certificate Management now has an "add" button. persist-local-ip, persist-remote-ip, and show-net-up properties were added to the Options tab, lport and rport were added to the Main tab, auth, cypher, ns-cert-type, chroot, and tls-remote were added to the Security tab, and route-gateway, route, route-delay, mssfix, shaper, inactive, dhcp-option, tun-mtu, tun-mtu-extra, ping-exit, and mute were added to the Network tab.
The Windows installer has been improved. There are
translations to Spanish, Portuguese, and German.
The TrayIcon system has been improved. Log view
has been fixed. There are a lot of minor bugfixes.
RPM dependencies have been fixed.
This release includes a new Windows theme engine and a lot of interface changes to be more GNOME HIG compliant. The project name and files were changed from "ovpnadmin" to "openvpn-admin". The internal structure was changed to support more platforms, so this should be capable of running on Nokia 770 (but this hasn't been tested on a real device). The Windows installer was updated to use the latest OpenVPN packages. Support for internationalization added, with a partial pt_BR localization. A system tray icon was added. A lot of minor bugs were fixed.
