项目描述

Card Services for Linux is a complete PCMCIA or PC Card support package. It includes a set of loadable kernel modules that implement a version of the Card Services applications program interface, a set of client drivers for specific cards, and a card manager daemon that can respond to card insertion and removal events, loading and unloading drivers on demand. It supports hot swapping of most card types, so cards can be safely inserted and ejected at any time.

This release fixes breakage introduced in 3.1.34: a short-packet handling bug in orinoco_cs and wvlan_cs, "cardmgr -f" handling, ide_cs breakage, and i82365 driver without PCI. /proc/pci handling for cardbus cards has been fixed. A big-endian bug in ide_info has been fixed.. Header files have been tweaked to make k_compat.h superfluous. There are documentation updates.

This release fixes IRQ probing on TI bridges, breakage on SMP systems, and a
CardBus CIS memory window management bug. Support for Nextcom NC5310B was
added. More sanity checks have been added to the configuration system. The
user-space utilities now report their version, not the version of the kernel
drivers.
