The Remote Microscope system consists of a
server that manages the microscope and handles
TCP connections, and Java-based client software
that allows users to control the microscope.
Currently the server software supports two
different Leica microscopes, and two image
acquisition devices.

The server code was modularized so that it can support multile driver modules. Support for the Leica INS1000 microscope and the PXC-200 frame grabber was added. The Java client's performance was improved. An early snapshot of a Python/Tk client that's faster than the Java/AWT client is now included. Various minor UI improvements and bug fixes were made.
