SkyChart is software to draw a map of the night sky for the
amateur astronomer from a bunch of stars and nebulae
catalogs. It shows the position of the planets, simulates an
eclipse, and shows artificial satellites. It can also drive the
telescope.

Drawing of the star is now improved using a new parametric method. A picture database allows you to display any number of FITS images to the chart. It is possible to replace every object symbol with its real image; a package with 9894 images for the SAC database is available. Other improvements include Double Star display and Milky Way color selection.
