Config::Model::CursesUI provides a curses user
interface for all configuration descriptions
created for config-model. This project is based on
the Curses::UI Perl module.

cron-apt allows users to run apt-get or aptitude commands at regular intervals using cron. It includes different settings for error reporting, what to install, etc.

novi is a tool for finding the latest-version RPMs
in a tree. It can be used to create Kickstart
trees or yum repositories that contain the updated
RPMS. In the case of Kickstart, this means
machines come to life with the updates already
applied. Using novi for a yum repository trims the
size of the repodata files, which reduces client
download and processing time.

XBashServ is program to help run and manage
computer game servers and other general network
servers. It is designed to be easy to use so that
you spend less time setting up the server and so
that more players have more time to enjoy gaming
on it.

Kslackcheck keeps in sync changelogs and shows updates in a graphical
popup in KDE, with just one click.
It can tell users what packages in need to be upgraded for major
releases, and helps to download them to a particular directory ready for manual upgrading.

apt-build is an apt-get frontend for compiling software optimised for your architecture. It uses the sources of Debian packages available in official repositories.

SlackMan is a GNOME-based package manager for Slackware systems. It aims to provide a friendly user interface to embedded administration tools (installpkg, removepkg, etc.).

UberImaging centrally controls the disk imaging process of many nodes on a network. Clients booted via PXE are served a small initrd image containing udpcast, a client module, and other tools allowing clients to be remotely controlled by a portable GUI.

soffice-scripts is a collection of scripts for starting StarOffice 6 and 7, which automatically runs the user installation if necessary.

UPMS (Universal Package Managment System) is based
on the BSD ports system, and can be used on any
FHS 2.0 Linux-compatible distribution. UPMS has
two level of dependencies checking: required and
suggested. It also has an option to optimize
everything that you build and install with it for
your architecture.

qmailfordummies simplifies the installation of
the powerful mail server qmail, Web mail,
IMAP, and a mail administration system. A
single binary file automates the process for
RedHat 7.1 on i386 platforms.

p@rdalys provides the full configuration set for
the Kolab Server and is based on puppet. Besides
the configuration data, it provides Ruby
extensions to puppet.

forceupgrade recursively installs or upgrades
NetBSD packages. Amazingly there is no
"pkg_upgrade" tool in NetBSD 1.6, so this does
what you'd expect it to do. It is useful for
installing or upgrading massive package-trees with
lots of dependencies and possible conflicts, such
as GNOME or KDE.

Dpsyco is a automated system to distribute system
configurations to several computers. It is written
mainly for the Debian distribution but should be
portable (without too much difficulties) to other
distributions or Unixes as well. It consists of a
number of shell scripts to perform the desired
actions. With it you can handle users, add
ssh-public-keys, patch the system, update things
using cfengine, install files (overriding other
package files), and more.
