MeetmeAutoMute is a utility for Asterisk that can automatically mute participants in a Meetme conference. This can be handy for when you are using the conference to broadcast some audio (like during a speech or presentation, and do not want to have people interfere with the speaker. It is written in Python and uses the AMI through the pyst library. Everything is configurable through a config file, and can be controlled at run time through the use of "signals". An "init.d" style bash script is included that will start the app as a background daemon.

SMSLink implements a client/server gateway to the SMS protocol (short messages on the mobile phones). It requires the use of dedicated hardware (a serial GSM module). Both SMS emission and reception are supported, either in text-mode or in PDU-mode. It also includes an SMS to eMail gateway module. The server runs under Linux and FreeBSD and supports interactive mode via telnet. The command-line client already exists for Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, HP-UX, and Win32. A basic Web interface is also provided.

KAlcatel allows you to manage messages, calls, contacs, todos and the calendar in Alcatel One Touch 50x and 70x mobile phones. The protocol used by this phone is binary and not documented, so this program can't guarantee any functionality in all cases.

The fonosip-siphon ultility installs preferences, settings, and icons for using FonoSIP with the Siphon softphone.

GkAuth is a call management system written for the GNU
Gatekeeper project. It functions by connecting to the
status port of the gatekeeper and collecting signals in its
database. It provides Web based administration and user
interface and stores its data in SQL tables. Key features
include a Web-based management interface, run-time
user administration (add/remove/modify user rights),
prepaid/post paid/free billing, and call history.

phpagi is a PHP class for writing Asterisk AGI
scripts. The class encapsulates many common AGI
tasks, and adds enhanced functionality for helping
to develop vertical applications and utilities.

o2-sms.pl is intended for customers of O2 Germany
that have an account at www.o2online.de. It can
send SMS messages via the WWW gateway. Use the -f
option to send a flash SMS (it will pop up on the
recipient's display immediately). The message text
can have up to 780 characters. SMS to wired
recipients are limited to 160 chars, as they are
being sent as "text-to-speech".

Voxpak is a GUI for playing, editing, renaming, etc. voice and fax messages. It includes scripts for popping up sticky-notes or requesters with caller ID info, renaming voice messages to date+callerid, using Python and pyGTK. A small Kaptain script is also available as an alternative.

CT Server is a Perl module that interfaces with
Voicetronix computer telephony cards, giving
developers a method of creating quick and
creative computer telephony applications. A
complete PBX is included as an example,
which includes a Web interface for configuring
and monitoring the PBX.

This class allows users to send SMS messages via the
Clickatell gateway. It provides support to authenticate to
this service and query for the current account balance.

A2Billing is a telecom switch and billing system capable of providing and billing a range of telecom products and services to customers such as calling card products, residential and wholesale VoIP termination, DID resale, and callback services.

PlayVoIP is a Web-based VoIP service enabler with
user management, statistical reports, and a
registration application system based on LAMP and
Asterisk. At the beginning, this project was
specially designed for the simple and free
Indonesian VoIP network VoIP Rakyat.

CVM is the CAPI Voice Mail System, and it is
designed to replace vgetty for Linux answering
machine services. It aims to provide an API
similar to that of vgetty, but instead works via
CAPI 2.0. The goal is to develop a product that is
more stable than vgetty/isdn4linux.
