gDVB is a Java-GTK2 frontend for DVB management.
It uses Mplayer as a backend and allows you to
create a favorite channels list, switch between
different satellites, scan channels, and monitor
the signal level.

GridFlow is a plugin for PureData, Ruby, and jMax. It provides the ability to process images and video as N-dimensional arrays ("Grids"). It consists of a framework for grid transmissions, elementary grid processing objects, picture-oriented processing objects, and input/output objects. It also allows one to write plugins for PureData and jMax using the Ruby language.

QuikKopy is a command-line utility which copies
images from a source directory to a destination
directory, creating a structured library of
digital images. It can also perform batch resizing
and manipulation of images using ImageMagick. It
is designed for use with large collections of raw
images, such as those downloaded from a digital
camera.

Gamera is a framework for the creation of structured
document analysis applications by domain experts. It
combines a programming library with GUI tools for the
training and interactive development of recognition
systems.

gdvrecv is a set of FreeBSD tools for receiving
audio and video data from a digital camcorder via
an IEEE 1394 FireWire link and storing them in a
DV file.

univision is an image capture application using
unicap to access the capture devices. It provides
easy access to the device properties (brightness,
contrast, etc.) and supports still images, image
sequences, and (in the future) AVI capture.

flscan (Fast Light Scan) is a new frontend for the
SANE libraries and dlls. It can rotate images by
90° both clockwise and counter clockwise, flip
images both vertically and horizontally, correct
the horizontal aspect of the image, save aquired
images in JPEG or in PNG format, let you view
images even at full size after they've been
acquired, and potentially supports all the SANE
backends.

EVILib is a C++ library for controlling the serial
interface of Sony color video cameras EVI-D30(31),
EVI-D70(P), and EVI-D100(P). A sample program is
provided with the library.

Camera downloads files from your digital camera.
It is based on GNUstep.

dbox2Tradio allows you to listen to radio and watch TV
channels using external helper applications (such as xmms or
Xine). The shell-style script remotely accesses the dbox2 and
performs any action via the Web interface. It supports
bouquets and is highly user configurable.

FlickFleck is a tool to transfer photos from a
digital camera memory card. It can rename and
rotate files using EXIF information.
